Berkeley Haas Undergraduate Remote Advising

You may schedule a 15-minute online appointment to speak to an advisor during our Remote Advising period. If you have a quick question, please email us at or drop into or call our office at (510) 642-1421 during our operating hours to leave appointments available for those who require them. 

Appointments can be made up to a week in advance.

Remote Advising Appointment Notes:

  • Participants are required to be signed into join a Zoom account prior to joining a meeting. For those who are not eligible for a UC Berkeley-provided Zoom account can create a free, consumer Zoom account or can request a phone call appointment.
  • All appointments will take place via Zoom unless student requests a phone call.
  • If you prefer a phone call, please click the "I would prefer a phone call." box at the end of the appointment form.

Advising Appointment Attendance Policy
When you make an appointment, we set aside that time specifically for you. Only schedule an appointment that you can attend, as no-shows and last minute cancellations prevent us from assisting other students.

  • Canceling appointments: If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel your appointment through the appointment confirmation email or email
  • Late arrival: If you know you will be late to your appointment, please notify the advisor by email. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment and have not notified the advisor, the appointment will be canceled and you will need to re-schedule another appointment.
  • “No Show” Policy: If you miss two or more appointments with an advisor without providing advanced notice, the Department reserves the right to cancel any future appointments.

To sign up for an advising appointment:
  • Click on a day in the calendar (below) highlighted in green to view available appointments.
  • Select your chosen date and time.
  • Complete the Haas Undergraduate Advising Appointment form.
  • Submit form.

You will receive an email reminder one hour in advance of your appointment with details on the appointment location.
