Berkeley Haas Undergraduate Admissions Remote Advising

Newly admitted students: For reasons of confidentiality and because of the volume of applications we review, advisors cannot and will not discuss admission decisions or answer specific questions about individual cases. These appointments are for students who have not yet applied to Haas.

You may schedule a 15-minute online appointment to speak to a Berkeley Haas Admissions advisor during our remote advising period. If you have a quick question, please email us at uginfo@haas.berkeley.edu or drop into or call our office at (510) 642-1421 during our operating hours to leave appointments available for those who require them.

Remote Advising Appointment Notes:

• Minors: If you are a minor (under the age of 18 years old), you will need to have a guardian or other adult join you for a meeting with an advisor. If you are unable to have an adult join you, please let the advisor know right at the start of the meeting.
• Participants are required to be signed into join a Zoom account prior to joining a meeting. For those who are not eligible for a UC Berkeley-provided Zoom account can create a free, consumer Zoom account or can request a phone call appointment.
• All appointments will take place via Zoom unless student requests a phone call.
• If you prefer a phone call, please click the "I would prefer a phone call." box at the end of the appointment form.

Advising Appointment Attendance Policy
When you make an appointment, we set aside that time specifically for you. Only schedule an appointment that you can attend, as no-shows and last minute cancellations prevent us from assisting other students.

• Canceling appointments: If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel your appointment through the appointment confirmation email or email uginfo@haas.berkeley.edu.
• Late arrival: If you know you will be late to your appointment, please notify the advisor by email. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment and have not notified the advisor, the appointment will be canceled and you will need to reschedule another appointment.
• “No Show” Policy: If you miss two or more appointments with an advisor without providing advanced notice, the Department reserves the right to cancel any future appointments.

• Select your chosen date and time.
• Complete the Haas Undergraduate Advising Appointment form.
• Submit form.
